2009 Contest Rules:
Digital Shorts podcast contest entries may be received between November 1, 2009, and February 26, 2010.
Employees of the Old State House Museum, the Department of Arkansas Heritage, their immediate families, and members of their households are not permitted to enter.
Winners will be chosen by March 17, 2010, and notified no later than March 25, 2010. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in both student and adult divisions of the audio and video categories. Prizes include gift cards in the amount of $250.00, $150.00, $100.00 and $75.00. An event to air the winning entries and honor the winners and distribute prizes will take place at the Old State House Museum on Thursday, April 8, 2010.
How to Enter:
- Submit as many entries as you wish; however, you can only win once.
- All entries must be submitted by mail. Record your webcast to a CD or DVD, and mail your CD or DVD, and the signed original copies of the Official Contest Rules, the Contest Entry Form, and Talent Release Forms for EACH identifiable person in your webcast to:

- All entries must be postmarked no later than Friday, February 26, 2010.
- The Old State House Museum will not be held liable for lost mail. Be sure to package your webcast CD/DVD's securely, as OSHM will not accept responsibility for loss or damage.
- Please name the file using the following format (Video/Audio_First and Last name_Age).
- Video webcasts must be 10 minutes or less and in MP4, WAV or MOV format.
- Audio webcasts must be 10 minutes or less and in MP3 format.
- The webcast must be an original work and a signed Talent Release Form for each identifiable individual in the audio/video clip must accompany the submission.

- Winning entrants will be selected by March 17, 2010 and posted on the winner's page on March 25, 2010.
- All submissions become the sole property of the Old State House Museum and will not be returned to the entrants.
- The Old State House Museum reserves the right to publish all webcasts and to use them in any website and/or promotional material without compensation to the creator. Production credit will be noted. Talent releases are the responsibility of the entrant and must be provided for identifiable people upon submission.
- Contest is open to all U.S. Residents.
- Entries will be judged on a six-point scale, on the basis of Creativity, Content/Subject Matter, Technical Aspects, Clarity, Historical Accuracy, and Overall Impression.
- Decisions of the judges are final.
