Contest Multimedia Tips
Plan your project before you begin. Write a script, find people to help you if necessary, choose a location, and then plan how to film or record. Whether you decide to make an audiocast or a short film, give yourself plenty of time to practice!
Whether you make a podcast (audio cast) or a short film, keep a couple of things in mind:
- Clear, distinct voices will help your project.
- Consider background noise and lighting when you choose a location.
- Use a tripod to hold your camera.
- Edit your product before you send it in.
Neither of these project mediums require a lot of expensive equipment.
Saving Your Work
The Old State House Museum will accept the following file formats for Digital Shorts entries:
- Video webcasts must be 10 minutes or less and in MP4, WMV or MOV format.
- Audio webcasts must be 10 minutes or less and in MP3 format.
