The Old State House Museum announces the winners of its first-ever Arkansas history webcast competition, Digital Shorts. Fourteen participants entered original, short, non-fiction video or audio webcasts about a variety of state history topics. Winners were selected in two age categories: students in grades 5–12 and adults. (The museum was unable to award a winner in the audio category this year as only one entry was received.)
The winners of the 2010 Digital Shorts competition are:

Fan Favorite – The Battle of Prairie Grove

1st Place – Nathan Gordon
2nd Place – Happy Land: The Story of Old Folks Singing
Fan Favorite – Robert Hays Williams
Awards will be presented and entries will be featured at a special event on the evening of April 8. Prizes include myspace page-building services provided by Aristotle Interactive
and cash awards.
